ANOTHER DRAGON AND DAMSEL AT CWP

 I paid a quick visit to one of the gravel pits on the Water Park this afternoon, the sun had gone but it was still pretty warm. 

On the water's edge were a couple of  little ringed plovers, shelduck, lapwings and mallards. Walking along between the hedgerows I spotted a  couple of female black tailed skimmers which flew down into the grass.  Also a banded demoiselle and my first beautiful demoiselle, a new species for my records.
